I Spytihnev. - Czech prince of the dynasty Pemyslovc. Son of the first Christian ruler of Bohemia Borivoj I. and later canonized Ludmila. Spytihnev is considered the founder of the Prague Castle.
The Czech princely throne sat Spytihnev after the demise of the Great Moravian ruler Svatopluk sometime in the year 894. His advent was ech detachment from dependence on Great Moravia.
