The introduction of Slavic liturgy: Introduction of the Slavonic liturgy: Praise the Lord in their native language - 1912
In the ninth century Moravian Prince Rostislav asked Byzantine monks Cyril and Methodius to translate the Bible and other parts of the liturgy. The move angered the German bishops and Rome. Cyril and Methodius are weighing Moravian saints and this image celebrates their deeds. On the picture is shown reading the papal bull Rostislavovich heir Svatopluk. Everything is located at the gates Velehradu, Slavic fort and the capital of Great Moravia. Methodius, now Archbishop stands as tall old man lit by the sun in the middle of the canvas supported altar. To the left of him shows dark figures guards who predict impending vengeance. Above left is revealed to the afflicted group of women who calms himself Cyril. Above them in the middle is Rostislav together with the patriarch of the Orthodox Church. A group of four characters at the top right shows the Russian and Bulgarian rulers who supported the Slavonic liturgy. The figure in the foreground on the bottom left is to symbolize a serious young man who stirs Slavs. Circle in his right hand represents Slav unity.

The Slav Epic
The cycle of twenty large paintings transferred memorial mints of precious metals.
Alfons Mucha wanted to capture the history of Slavs in the collection of images that would symbolize their way through the history. The idea of ??creating Epic toyed at the beginning of the 20th century, however, due to lack of funds had to postpone the idea. After marrying Mary Chytilova located in Chicago industrialist Charles R. Crane, who was willing to bear all costs associated with the creation of the Slav Epic. Mucha returned in 1910 to his native country, so he rented a part of the castle at Zbiroh and here formed the Slav Epic, which together took him 18 years of life.
completed by 1928, when it, along with Charles Crane handed Prague and for all Czechoslovak population.
