Summit Obama, Medvedev - a meeting of two presidents nuclear powers 8 April 2010 in Prague. The purpose of the meeting Barack Obama and Dmitry Mev�d�va the signing of the START treaty on the reduction of nuclear weapons in the arsenals of the US and Russian armies.

Summit was accompanied by a huge interest in the world's media. Obama and Medvedev together first about two hours behind closed doors to discuss the Music Salon Prague Castle, then walked to the Spanish Hall, where an agreement in the presence of Czech politicians, journalists and foreign guests signed.

Agreement START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) follow up on an earlier agreement START I and II., So often referred to as START III. According to her, both countries have seven years to reduce the number of strategic warheads to 1,550 on each side.

Both leaders also met with Czech President Vaclav Klaus, who is after signing a contract invited to a festive lunch. On the same day Obama invited to dinner and leaders of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The meeting was held at the residence of the US ambassador in Prague Bubene�.
