2008 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships - was held in Pardubice and Liberec in late 2007/8. The tournament was attended by ten teams, which are in two groups competed against each. Group A consisted of teams of Czech, Slovakia, Canada, Sweden and Denmark. In group B clashed national team USA, Russia, Finland, Kazakhstan and Switzerland. The world champions have become Canadians, Swedes in front of others and bronze Russians. Czech selection finished in fifth place behind the US. Group of rescue teams fell Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Switzerland and Denmark. Among the world's elite remained in Slovakia and Kazakhstan.

With the same number six goals to become the tournament's top scorer Colin Wilson (USA) and Yevgeny Rymarev (Russia). The best goalkeeper was evaluated Steve Mason from Canada. The tournament started December 26, 2007 and ended 5 January 2008.
