Boleslav II. Pious (about 932 - 999 7. 2.) - Czech prince of the dynasty Pemyslovc. He is credited with the creation of Prague bishopric and early Christian monasteries in the Czech Republic.
The place and date of birth Boleslav II. there are not any credible information. Head of State took after his father's death Boleslav I called cruel, after which he inherited vast territories. The boundaries of the state initially also successfully expanded. In the north, leaning on an alliance with the Polish Prince Mieszko, who later married the sister Boleslavova Doubravka.
