Jungfraujoch - the highest railway station in Europe. Located in the Bernese Alps at an altitude of 3454 meters (Switzerland). The entire railway line, which is 30 kilometers was launched on August 1, 1912. Exceeding against the default station in Interlaken is 2887 meters.
The Jungfrau is among the popular tourist destinations due to the attractive ski areas and beautiful views of the surrounding Alpine peaks.
Jungfraujoch, which leads to the highest railway in Europe, located between the Mnch and Jungfrau peaks. Track largely passes through the rock of the Eiger and Mnch, which was cut tunnel (a length of more than 7 kilometers).
