DUAN SAMUEL JURKOVI
Dusan Jurkovic itself was a major representative of our Art Nouveau
architecture. He created a very distinctive & quot; National Style & quot ;, significantly
influenced by folk architecture. I was looking for inspiration in the English
Arts and Crafts movement. He was known primarily for its completely original
buildings on the Beskydy Pustevny. Chatou Mamnka, cozy mountain
on Radhoti, buildings in Luhaovice (Jurkoviv bathhouse
Jesteb bathhouse, swimming), Civic Savings Bank building in
Basketball, residential apartment buildings in the Dvorak Street, Glasgow,
Hell restaurants in Nove Mesto nad Metuj and family house in
Prague-Bubenec in Slavickova street. He is also the author of the monumental
mounds and the mausoleum of Milan Rastislav Stefanik on the parallel bars. & nbsp;
WOOD poet
Dusan Jurkovic was born on 23 August

an honorary member of the Art Forum in Prague. In the years after breaking Czechoslovakia and
during the Second World War, actively supported the participation of their sons in
antifascist resistance. He died on December 21, 1947 in Bratislava. In
He was posthumously awarded the Order of the Slovak National Uprising First Class
Order of TG Masaryk, First Class for outstanding service to democracy and
human rights.
A significant part of the work of Dusan Jurkovic remained to this day
unrealized. Whether it's a new colonnade in Luhaovice building
Casinos and other spa objects or unrealized design lookout
Brnov in a portal in the Slavic style. These works have become a major
model for the creative design of a new gold and silver medals issued to
60th anniversary of the death of Dusan Jurkovic.
