Cupid
and his arrows
In art, Eros was usually depicted as a naked winged boy or a child (although this idea is linked more with Cupid from Roman religion, the Greeks were rather young man) with his bow and arrows in hand. Used two kinds of arrows: one gold with wings of dove feathers that caused instant love; another owl with wings of feathers, which evoked indifference. Poetess Sappho described him as "bittersweet" and "cruel" to his victims; was also unscrupulous, mischievous and charismatic.
