Pern�tejn - Gothic castle Pern�tejn located about ten kilometers from the city Byst�ice nad Pern�tejnem in a southeasterly direction. It was founded in the mid-XIII. century masters from Medlov, who then began to call by Castle: Lords of Pern�tejna.

Pern�tejn is a fine example of Gothic and Renaissance architecture. Original not too large building with a tower was substantially rebuilt in the late XV. and XVI. century. Pern�tejnov� in these times belonged to the richest families in the Czech lands and their seat castle has been a great investment know: among other modifications allowed to extend the castle and built a new palace courtyard. To the pride of the castle is now one representative Knights' Hall. At the silhouette of the object is signed Thirty Years' War, when the Swedish siege suffered a square tower. It has since been lower instead of two bridge connects the palace with her only one. In addition to these changes in external appearance remained virtually maintained until now. Pern�tejn is one of the most visited Moravian castles. Its owner is the Czech State Administration Building at the National Heritage Institute.
