Carpathian beech forests - are located in the northwest of Slovakia and eastern Ukraine. In 2007, this unique location UNESCO-listed.

On the verge of beech forest in the mountains of Vihorlat is a popular tourist attraction: Sea Eye Lake, situated at an altitude of 619 meters. Created by the collapse of an unstable volcanic material that dammed the stream window rises below Sninsk�m stone.
