ABOUT 200 Kč 20 let ČNB a české měny

On 6 February 2013 the Czech National Bank is putting into circulation a CZK 200 commemorative silver coin to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Czech National Bank as a central bank and the 20th anniversary of the Czech currency. The coin is minted from an alloy containing 925 parts silver and 75 parts copper and is issued in two versions, normal quality and proof quality, which differ in surface treatment and edge marking. Proof-quality coins have a highly polished field, a matt relief and a plain edge with the inscription ��ESK� N�RODN� BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *�. Normal quality coins have milled edges. The coin is 31 mm in diameter, weighs 13 g and is 2.25 mm thick. As with any other coins, deviations in diameter of 0.1 mm and thickness of 0.15 mm are allowed. Upward deviations in weight of 0.26 g and silver content of 1% are permitted.

The obverse side of the coin features the Bohemian lion with the interweaving text ��NB�. Below the lion are the denomination and the abbreviated monetary unit �200 K�. The name of the state ��ESK� REPUBLIKA� is positioned in the ring of the coin. The coin was minted by the Czech Mint. Its mark in the form of the letters �Ȕ and �M� is located above the letter �Ȕ in the word ��ESK��. The reverse side of the coin features the fa�ade of the Czech National Bank�s headquarters in Prague, over which is the motif of the reverse side of the CZK 1 coin. The left-hand, upper and right-hand edge of the coin features the inscription �20 LET �NB A �ESK� M�NY�. The years �1993� and �2013� are located at the bottom edge of the coin. The coin was designed by the sculptor Vladim�r Oppl. His mark is located above the anniversary years.

Each coin comes with a white catalogue card with background ornaments containing a description and the relief of the coin.
